Why do you wish to become a Civil Protection Unit?: The general idea of roleplaying as a police officer in a world such as Half Life seems like a very interesting concept, along with the RP it can generate for other players.

Give a detailed role playing example with how you would type it out in the chat with /mes etc as a Civil Protection Unit:

UNIT-00001 stood aloof as he scanned the perimeter, standing at the directed location to clamp. His eyes scanned the area for any misdemeanor or offense - arms folded neatly at his chest while his head turned from side to side. There was strain in his voice as he spoke, to himself mostly. "A quiet day today, can't tell if that's a good thing or not." A muffled, low chuckle escaped his throat as his head turned to the ground.

UNIT-00002 steps out of the door, standing with discipline and backbone as they move toward 00001. Their vo/coder emitted an ambiguous voice - "Attach for patrol, unit." As he walked past, he somewhat tapped the other unit on the shoulder to make sure they'd heard - continuing their pace down the stairs and into the road. They looked back at their fellow unit, putting their free hand up and motioning them to follow them.

UNIT-00001 gives a nod of approval, stepping away from his position and responding. "10-4, attaching for patrol." The unit follows beside the other as they begin walking, unclipping their stunstick prematurely as a safety precaution. He glances side to side as they walk out in the open, the pattern-like sound of their boots hitting the ground ringing out through the area - giving away their presence to everyone.

Johnny Appleseed slams the door shut behind himself as he walks inside a shop, somewhat of a wicked grin planted upon his face as he looked around - all eyes on him. He began yelling at everyone around him in somewhat of an aggressive manor, waving his arms around and telling threats. Any yelling from the inside could be heard from the outdoors, as the walls were thing enough.

UNIT-00001 stops abruptly as he hears the yelling nearby, turning to the the origin of the noise. "Come along now, 00002 - we've someone to deal with. Take caution." His pace quickens as he makes his way over to the shop, letting out a grunt as he approaches the doorframe and cocks his head to the side, peering into the window. He sees the crazed man waving his arms, nodding his head in acknowledgment. "Right in here, let's get to it. Keep my back as we enter, I don't want any surprises to make an even bigger mess."

UNIT-00002 follows behind his subordinate, bringing their stunstick up to a more readied position. "That would be the best course of action. Let's make our way inside." He places his hand on the other unit's back, as the be guided inside by them for when they open the door. Their head turned behind them while they used their hand to keep themselves straight.

UNIT-00001 extends his free hand to the door, pushing it open before he headed inside the unlocked store - voice suddenly raising, he yells out to the man a few feet away from him to get his attention. "We'd advise you to stop yelling, citizen! Get on the wall, before we're required to use physical force." The male takes a few steps forward towards the man, stunstick in hand as they approached cautiously.

UNIT-00002 continued to keep his hand trained on the fellow unit's back as they entered through the doorframe, looking over the soldier of his comrade as he began to yell at the citizen. He took his hand off 00001's back and turned his head to look at the other citizens, stepping away from 00001 and walking more towards the rest of the crowd gathered a few feet away.

Johnny Appleseed turns his head to the two officers, clenching his teeth as he sees their presence. He stops his yelling as his demeanor appears less threatening - somewhat scared, perhaps. "Who the hell do you think you are, acting all big and tough! I'll do what I please." The man's hand then appears to reach down in his pocket for something, looking as if he was trying to grab for something.

UNIT-00001 notices his hand slip downwards, promptly reacting to what the man was obviously trying to do. The already raised stunstick began to race towards the side of the man where he was completely open - the side with his hand in his pocket. He brought the stunstick towards him with great force, his muscles straining as the arm swung the electrical baton.

Johnny Appleseed had little time to react, as his hand was stuffed all the way in his pocket. He was forced to take the hit head on, unable to try to defend himself with his hand. The electric charge stuns him as he falls to the ground, along with the small knife that was in his pocket. "F-fuck yew!" The male's body appears to be momentarily limp, obviously struggling to move - his voice being somewhat slurred.

UNIT-00001 brings his foot over to the knife that the man had dropped onto the ground below in his current state, putting his foot over it and sliding it backwards. His hand then reaches down towards the man's neck, attempting to grab him with a tight grip to pick up him.

Johnny Appleseed lets out a deep sigh through his nostrils, showing little resistance as the officer goes to pick him off the ground. As he's picked up, his hand slowly covers the mark that the stun-baton left, muttering swears under his breath.

UNIT-00002 keeps his guard up as he looks backwards, making sure no other citizen tries anything. "The situation is under control, you've no need to worry - we assure you of your safety." He waves his free hand up in the air in front of the citizens. The eyes under the face-plate scanned the room as he peered over the group of citizens.

UNIT-00001 pushes the man towards the wall, one of his feet moving forward and kicking the male's shin - letting his collar go from his vise grip. "Turn around, it will go much faster if you comply from here on out." Their stunstick continues to be raised, peering into the man's eyes.

Johnny Appleseed puts one hand on the wall, obviously struggling to stand as his muscles were still contracting. He slowly turns himself around and puts his forehead against the cold wall, using it as a support as he speaks his name. "I know yer fuck'n process.. Johnny Appleseed, 20200." He complies, allowing the officer to do as they please.

UNIT-00001 grabs ahold of the man's hands as he ties them together with a pair of zip-ties, pressing one hand on his back as he finishes. "Illegal weaponry, overall uncivil behavior; detainment, negative points." The sound of a stunstick being clipped to a belt could be heard, before his now free hand reaches down to his PDA as he takes it out, submitting the male's information and applying the necessary negative points - unclipping their stunstick once more thereafter.

UNIT-00002 continues to keep watch behind the two, glancing back every so often to check on the fellow officer. He directs his voice towards the other citizens in the room, "it will be over soon, do not worry." The officer spins on a heel, walking over to the other officer's side to watch him do work. "Let's get him into the cell, we can't have him out here anymore.

UNIT-00001 turns his head over momentarily, giving a nod of acknowledgment before raising his stunstick well above his head. He then swings it forward, down towards the citizen's skull in multiple swift blows.

Johnny Appleseed closes his eyes as he prepares for the blow, letting out a loud groan each time it makes contact with his skin. He slips out one more swear as the officer begins to hit him with the stunstick, feeling the electricity course through his body before going completely limp.

Explain why it is important that you behave correctly in this role: If someone were to be lacking as a civil protection unit, not only would it break immersion, but it would make it appear as if the server's standards are rather low.

What are your past experiences with Civil Protection characters, give a detailed summary: Over my time as a unit I have taken multiple roles. Divisional, regular ground unit, etc.

Why have you chosen to look for a position within the Civil Protection?: I thought that my addition to the metropolice force would be beneficial to the city and all the live within it. I want to improve and maintain socio-stability with whatever means necessary.

Did you have a previous job pre-war?
I was a thief, a con-artist. I've taken from gang leaders, mafia godfathers, and other of that sort.
Have you had children before the war?

Do you require medication?
I do not.

Have you broken laws before the War?
Definitely.

What talents do you posses?
I'm rather quick, I know how to pick locks, and steal things in general without other's knowledge. I'm also good at gathering information, as that was somewhat required for my "profession," to con others and the sort.
